AGPack™
The AGPack is a conditioning system that removes macro particles like sticks, stones and dust from a biogas source by compressing and drying the waste stream. Ideal for dairy manufacturing, food processing and select digester streams, the AGPack is also used to support SAGPack, AFT’s industry-leading contaminant removal system.
Features:
- Uses a finned-fan heat exchanger or chiller to compress moisture in the waste stream.
- Removes stick, stone, dust and manure particles.
Advantages:
- Can combine with a liquefier to convert biogas to LNG, a diesel-replacement green energy fuel.
- Ideal particulate removal solution for managers of dairy manufacturing, food processing and other agriculture-based waste streams.
- Can support higher grades of biogas conditioning when paired with SAGPack.
Requirements for usage:
- Allow 18-24 weeks for delivery.
- Requires moisture removal.
- The maximum operating temperature is 105°F.
- Capital expenditure is potentially higher than for other sulfur removal technologies.
- Slightly higher energy usage due to power requirements.
