SAGPack™
The SAGPack system is designed to condition, compress, and remove moisture and siloxanes from biogas. It includes patented technology for stratifying the media and calibration of the siloxane removal capabilities of the system based on the different species identified during gas testing. System size is based on gas velocity, temperature, pressure, and SIL-2 gas analysis. Treated gas operating conditions are 20-40 percent RH at a maximum of 80° F.
Features:
- Removes hundreds of different organic and siloxane species, as well as non-methane VOCs and halides.
- Can be combined with AGPack, SulfrStrip, SulfrPack, CO2Strip and any other existing equipment of any size.
- System includes one or more vessels that use special media and patented polymorphous porous graphite.
Advantages:
- AFT has developed over 270 SAG media combinations that can be used to target the different species of VOC< and siloxane.
- This system has defined siloxane removal in our industry.
- Most cost-effective solution for small to mid-sized installations, for any flow rate.
- Can combine with a liquefier to convert biogas to LNG, a diesel-replacement green energy fuel.
- Systems can be custom engineered to meet plant specifications and conditions. Requirements for usage:
- Allow 12-14 weeks for delivery.
- Gas must be dried immediately before entering the SAG vessel.
- Regular SIL-2 gas sampling is required for optimal performance.
- Monitoring and service is required for first 12 months and then quarterly after that.
